The Linebacker II Libraries Podcast - Stories from War's End

Linebacker II Libraries, Stories from War's End - Episode 1: HOW DID WE GET HERE?

John Mollison Season 1 Episode 1

Vietnam War and Linebacker II veteran Ron Bartlett & aviation artist and filmmaker John Mollison bring you Episode 1 of the four-part series on Linebacker II, the Operation that effectively ended the Vietnam War for the United States (and brought the POWs home).

Each episode features a downloadable Educator's Supplement + the 1-2 minute recollections of veterans and their families.

In this first Episode,  Woody Gilliland and Bruce Huffman share their stories and perspectives of the war preceding Linebacker II.

Woody Gilliland was a "grunt Marine" platoon leader who ended his Vietnam War service as a Huey AH-1G Cobra pilot.

Bruce Huffman was an Aero Scout, flying the treacherous low-level missions to seek-out the enemy, often face-to-face.

Both veterans have particular insight into the Vietnam War and help the listener prepare for the next episode, GETTING READY FOR THE FIGHT
